The Historical Trumpets of The United States Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps bring to life the sounds of the Baroque trumpet and timpani through 18th century field, ceremonial, and art music.  The following recordings are performed on instruments inspired by those used in the 1700s. Featured selections include works by Johann Ernst Altenburg as well as arrangements of music from colonial America, the courts of Europe, and 18th century trumpet calls.
