SFC David Vernon
U.S. Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps

Sergeant First Class David Vernon joined the Corps in 2012. He is from Gulfport, Mississippi. He received his Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2006 and worked on a Masters in Music Performance degree from the University of Kansas before joining the Fife and Dum Corps. His former instructors and professors include Dr. John Wooton, Ji Hye Jung and Colin McNutt, to name a few. He is happily married and has two beautiful children. His hobbies include running, fishing, and playing golf.
