SSG Kevin Thompson
U.S. Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps

Staff Sergeant Kevin Thompson joined the Fife and Drum Corps in 2018. He grew up in Connecticut, where he was introduced to the unique culture and music of fife and drum. He played with the Col. John Chester Fife and Drum Corps for ten years and later joined the Connecticut Patriots Fife and Drum Corps. He received his Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance from Western Connecticut State University and his Master of Music from The Hartt School.

He is active in the marching arts community, having taught and arranged for several drum corps, indoor percussion ensembles, and marching bands. He currently works as a Percussion Technician with the Spartans Drum and Bugle Corps from Nashua, NH.
