SFC William Parks
U.S. Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps

Sergeant First Class William Parks joined the Fife and Drum Corps in 2009. He is from Williamsburg, Virginia, and started playing the fife at age ten as part of the Colonial Williamsburg Fifes and Drums, where he graduated as Fife Section Leader in 2008. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from James Madison University in 2004.

In 2016, SFC Parks became a drum major full time and served as the Corps’ Senior Drum Major. He is currently serving as a Fife Section Leader.

He continues to be involved with Fife and Drum Corps Internationally, playing fife with the Alumni of the Colonial Williamsburg Fifes and Drums and Stoney Creek Fife and Drum Corps. Additionally, he is a Drum Major for the 21st Grey Coat Battalion Fife and Drum Corps out of Basel Switzerland.
