SSG Lotte Balangue
U.S. Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps

Staff Sergeant Lotte Balangue joined the Fife and Drum Corps in 2016. She grew up in Haddonfield, NJ. She earned her Bachelor of Music degree in Trumpet Performance and Music Education from the Eastman School of Music, where she graduated with honors. During that time, Lotte taught Early Childhood Music classes at the Eastman Community Music School. She earned her Master of Music degree in Trumpet Performance and Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Trumpet Performance and Literature from Boston University. While attending BU, she also performed as a cornet player in the New England Brass Band.

Staff Sergeant Balangue currently lives in Arlington, VA, with her husband.
